COMMA 2024 takes place at the campus of the FernUniversität in Hagen in Germany.

There are multiple airports in the vicinity of Hagen. From there you can take trains (see below) to get to Hagen.

• Airport Düsseldorf (DUS): It takes about 1-2 hours by train to get from the airport to Hagen main station.
• Airport Köln/Bonn (CGN): It takes about 1-2 hours by train to get from the airport to Hagen main station.
• Airport Frankfurt (FRA): It takes about 3-4 hours by train to get from the airport to Hagen main station.
• Airport Dortmund (DTM): Regional airport that offers some international connections within Europe. It takes less than one hour by train to get from the airport to Hagen main station.

The main railway station in Hagen is called "Hagen Hbf". You can look up and book train connections within Germany on https://int.bahn.de/en.

Within Hagen you can get around by bus. The bus stop at the FernUniversität is called "Hagen, FernUniversität". You can look up bus and regional train connections on https://www.vrr.de/en/. Bus tickest can usually be purchased from the bus driver. Regional train tickets can be booked online (see above) and at ticket maschines at the train stations.

We have reserved special contingents at the following hotels.

• During the whole time period:
• CampusHotel: The hotel closest to the conference venue. Booking only possible via e-mail (please mention "COMMA" in your request).
• Mercure Hotel: A four star hotel close to the city centre.
• Bildungsherberge: A budget friendly option.
• Additionally during workshops:
• Arcadeon: Another four star hotel somewhat close to the conference venue.

Booking the CampusHotel is only possible via e-mail (please mention "COMMA" in your request). For Mercure, Bildungsherberge, and Arcadeon you need a special keyword to make use of the reserved contingents, these are listed in the table below. Please combine different keywords to book for longer time periods.
